Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized national unity at a public gathering in Agra, warning against societal divisions by citing turmoil in Bangladesh. He criticized the opposition for prioritizing vote bank politics over the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh. Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav suggested Adityanath aimed to become prime minister, urging him not to overstep his role.
