Satyadev’s scenes from RRR were deleted, Zebra actor breaks silence on SS Rajamouli snipping his 16 minutes long footage

Telugu actor Satyadev has recently gathered the spotlight for his upcoming release titled Zebra. Amidst heightened excitement for the film, the actor surprised everyone in a recent interview by revealing that he was a part of the film RRR. He added that his scenes were actually trimmed from the SS Rajamouli directorial.

When the actor was first asked about his experience working on the sets of RRR, he was taken aback and then revealed how no one actually knew he was part of the film. Calling the entire episode a sort of masterclass for him, Satyadev explained that his role never made it to the final cut, as it didn’t fit well with the film.

When Satyadev was asked why he never mentioned his involvement in the film, he responded that it was out of sheer respect for the cast and crew that he chose to remain silent on the matter.

Satyadev said, “I did my part well. At that time, my scenes didn’t fit into the movie. That’s why, when you first asked, I wondered how you knew about this. I never told anyone. It is my respect towards them. And of course, my role didn’t fit in with the movie.”

Check out his response here:

While Satyadev did not reveal further details about the role he played or which parts of his scenes were cut from RRR, it is believed that a total of 16 minutes of his footage was removed from the Ram Charan starrer. The actor expressed that including his scenes would have lengthened the film, which is why they were axed.

Although Satyadev’s part in RRR was removed, the film still went on to achieve immense success globally, even bagging a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar. From cinematography to individual performances and the terrific music compositions by MM Keeravani, the film became an instant icon, earning love and attention from audiences worldwide.

On the work front, Satyadev is now busy with his next release, Zebra. The Telugu-language financial crime thriller is written by Eashvar Karthic and is jointly bankrolled by Old Town Pictures and Padmaja Films Pvt Ltd.

In addition to Satyadev, the film stars Dhananjaya, Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Amrutha Iyengar, among others.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Address Annoyed Fans For Crying Too Much on Wicked Press Tour; ‘My Tear Ducts Are Tired’

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo had shed uncontrollable tears through the entire press tour for the movie Wicked. The duo play Glinda and Elphaba in the movie respectively. The fruit of their labor is expected to be released on November 22, but earlier promotion for the film had both actresses in tears, which elicited support and humorous comments on social media.

Wicked movie promotion has seen them cry a number of times which somewhat became a running joke. Filmmaking for Wicked commenced in December 2022 because it was halted by COVID-19 and again by the SAG-AFTRA strike of 2023, making it seem as if the film project took forever to finish for the cast.

Explaining themselves to the public and the fans who managed to stand through their teary-eyed interviews, Ariana and Cynthia for the first time clarified why they couldn’t hold back their tears in an interview with the E! News. They looked tired and joked with each other that their tear ducts were worn out.

Grande said, “We’ve cried 500 times today. And honestly, this is a PSA. So sorry, guys.” Addressing some comments that might have found them annoying, the Thank You, Next hitmaker added, “And you know what? If you’re just gonna comment saying how annoying it is, I’ll say it first. I’m annoyed, I’m tired. My tear ducts are tired.”

Erivo and Grande admitted to each other that even before the interview took place, they were both in a “private cry” in a car parking lot, sharing memories about the bonding they had experienced over the past few years of their friendship. “We’ve come through a massive, massive thing, and we’ve really stuck together,” Erivo said.

As Cynthia put it, the tears demonstrated how much the two of them had been through, adding that their relationship extends more than what people see. Ariana agreed with this, saying, that behind the cameras, the moments were so important and helped change their relationship for the better.

Elsewhere, speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Grande highlighted, “You need to understand, it’s been, like, three years, people!” Wicked starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Marissa Bode, and more finally arrives in theatres on November 22.

“When His House Burned…”: Yogi Adityanath’s History Reminder To M Kharge

Yogi Adityanath and Mallikarjun Kharge have traded barbs – on charges of spreading communal hatred vs appeasement politics – as campaigning for next week’s Maharashtra Assembly election enters the home stretch.

At a rally in Amravati Tuesday afternoon, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister served up a caustic reply to the Congress boss’ comment about “(political) leaders in the guise of sadhus”, an obvious jab at Yogi Adityanath.

Responding to that attack, Yogi referred to his rival’s childhood tragedy – his mother and members of his family died when their home, in a village in the former princely state of Hyderabad, was burned down by an Islamic militia – and claimed Mr Kharge had since buried his feelings “for the sake of (the Congress’) vote bank”.

“Khargeji is angry with me. But, Khargeji, I am saying that for a yogi the country comes first. But, for you, appeasing the Congress is paramount.”

“His village was under the Nizam of Hyderabad… when India was under the British. There was a fire… this was when Hindus were being selectively killed. And, in this fire, his home was also burned down, in which his mother and family were killed. But Khargeji does not say this… because he knows if he says it, then Muslim votes will shift. He forgot the sacrifice of his family for the sake of votes.”

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister hit back after Mr Kharge, on Sunday, criticised Yogi over the contentious poll slogan “batenge toh katenge“.

“Many (political) leaders live in the guise of sadhus and become politicians… some even become chief ministers. They wear gerua (saffron) clothes and have no hair on their heads…” the Congress boss said, “But I would say… either wear white clothes or, if you are a sanyasi, get out of politics.”

“On the one hand you wear gerua clothes… on the other you say ‘batenge toh katenge‘. They are spreading hatred among the people and are trying to divide them,” he declared.

The sharp jibes were in reference to comments by Yogi Adityanath in August.

Speaking in Agra, he cited the example of chaos then in Bangladesh and said, “You see Bangladesh… those mistakes should not be repeated here. ‘Batenge to katenge, ek rahenge to nek rahenge‘.”

He had accused the opposition of being more concerned about votes than the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh after ex Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country.

But, in the build-up to the Maharashtra election, Yogi Adityanath’s incendiary statement didn’t find favour with a BJP ally – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and his Nationalist Congress Party faction.

“All castes should unite and think about India… they should think about Maharashtra. Development cannot happen by creating differences between each other…” Mr Pawar told NDTV.

Elections to the 288-member Maharashtra assembly will be held on November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23.
