The Election Commission has demanded evidence from Rahul Gandhi regarding his claims of voter fraud in Karnataka during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Gandhi alleged that over a lakh votes were stolen in Mahadevapura through duplicate entries and fake addresses. He urged the EC to release digital voter rolls for public audit.

The Indian Navy is set to conduct naval drills in the Arabian Sea, coinciding with Pakistan’s naval exercises in its territorial waters. These drills follow a tense military standoff in May, during which India’s armed forces executed coordinated strikes against Pakistani military assets, including aircraft and radar systems. A notable engagement involved an S-400 missile intercepting a Pakistani surveillance aircraft.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark came after the Navy was asked to hold back from a reportedly planned strike on Karachi port during Operation Sindoor.
