A devastating bus accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur district claimed at least nine lives and injured 40 others when a private bus plunged into a 500-feet gorge. The vehicle, en route from Shimla to Kupvi, veered off a narrow road near Haripurdhar. Himachal Pradesh chief minister extended his condolences and promised full support to affected families.

The Chief Minister recently met Ankita’s parents and reiterated that the state government stands firmly with the victim’s family.

“We continue to witness a disturbing pattern of recurring attacks on minorities as well as their homes and businesses by extremists,” said Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.
