The curtain has finally risen on Nagabandham, an ambitious mythological spectacle that promises scale, spirituality, and cinematic grandeur. Directed by Abhishek Nama in his second outing behind the camera, the film features Virat Karrna in the lead role. Adding star power to the launch, the teaser was unveiled by Superstar Mahesh Babu, instantly amplifying the excitement surrounding the project. The makers of Nagabandham unveiled their first teaser to the public on Sunday after they had previously shared many eye-catching character posters of the film. Mahesh Babu took to social media on Sunday to release the teaser and shared the link on X while he mentioned the team. “The #WorldOfNagabandham looks absolutely fascinating all the way…. Looking forward to experiencing it soon,” Mahesh Babu wrote while sharing the teaser.

Running for over two-and-a-half minutes, the teaser dives straight into a visually immersive world. Mounted on a lavish budget, the film showcases sweeping landscapes, intricate production design, and striking VFX work that reflect its epic canvas. Interestingly, the teaser unfolds without a single line of dialogue, yet it manages to hold attention with its atmospheric storytelling and powerful imagery.

At the heart of the narrative lies a mystical treasure believed to be linked to Lord Anantha Padmanabha Swamy, hidden deep within the icy terrains of the Himalayas. The discovery of this sacred secret draws the attention of a ruthless antagonist driven by greed. As chaos looms, fate calls upon a chosen guardian to protect the divine treasure and restore cosmic balance. Virat Karrna makes a commanding impact, appearing in multiple intense looks, including a fierce avatar inspired by Lord Shiva.

Blending mythology with mystery and spiritual undertones, Nagabandham sparks curiosity without revealing too much. The ensemble cast includes Iswarya Menon, Nabha Natesh, Murali Sharma, Jaya Prakash, BS Avinash, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in pivotal roles. Backed by NIK Studios and Abhishek Pictures, the film is slated for a grand multi-language theatrical release in Summer 2026.

Anaswara snaps new film

Even before her second movie hits the screens, producer Dheeraj Mogileni (he is a notable name in the industry after last year’s The Girlfriend with Rashmika Mandanna) has snapped her up for a new project. This time, she will be paired with Sangeeth Sobhan, the breakout star from MAD and MAD Square. The youthful entertainer is directed by Surya Pratap, who shot to fame with the film, Kumari 21F. Anaswara’s second outing is going to be Itlu Arjuna, the first production venture from director Venky Kudumula of Bheeshma fame. In this upcoming drama, she stars alongside a fresh debutant named Aniesh.

Debuted at the age of 15

Clearly, a rocky start hasn’t deterred Anaswara. Her first Telugu film, Champion, was a flop. “There is a distinct magic in period dramas; they offer a window into worlds we can no longer inhabit. Stepping into the costumes of that era to become Chandrakala (her name in the film) was a highlight for me. It felt less like playing a part and more like experiencing a lost moment in time,” Anaswara said in her recent interview in December 2025. The actress was 15 when she debuted with the Malayalam movie Udaharanam Sujatha in 2017. Her first leading role was in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal two years later. Anaswara played a blind sculptor in Mohanlal’s Neru, in 2023. It is one of the most acclaimed roles in her career. Most recently, she was seen in the Tamil movie With Love, a teen rom-com. Young male actors like Abishan Jeevinth, Roshan Meka and Sangeeth have been her co-stars.

Ananya Panday was recently clicked at the airport, keeping her travel look simple and comfortable. She wore an oversized white sweatshirt that featured the Hindi phrase “Sab Kuch Milega” (Everything is possible) printed on the front. She paired the top with blue denim jeans and white sneakers, making it a perfect choice for a long flight. 

On the work front, Ananya is currently busy with her upcoming projects. Fans are especially excited to see her in the movie Chand Mera Dil, where she will be seen opposite Lakshya. The film is a romantic drama directed by Vivek Soni and produced under the Dharma Productions banner. This fresh pairing has already created a lot of buzz on social media.
