Stree 2 Third Weekend Box Office Collections: Bahubali 2’s all time record goes down after 7 long years

The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-led Stree 2 is continuing with its record-breaking run at the box office in India. The Amar Kaushik-directed horror comedy collected Rs 46.50 crore in its third weekend, going past the longstanding record of the SS Rajamouli-directed Bahubali 2, which earned Rs 42.00 crore in 2017. The 18-day total collection of Stree 2 stands at an earth-shattering total of Rs 479.50 crore and the film is all set to enter the Rs 500 crore club in the next 5 days.

The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao film collected Rs 9.00 crore on the third Friday, before jumping to Rs 16.50 crore and Rs 21.00 crore respectively on Saturday and Sunday. The film is on a historic run at the box office and will be the first non-action film to enter the Rs 500 crore club in India. In-fact, Stree 2 has yielded the biggest return on investment among all the blockbusters in the modern era and the trend till date indicates that the film is not stopping anytime soon.

The lifetime collections of Animal, Bahubali 2, Pathaan, and Gadar 2 will be history by the end of fourth weekend and the film will then commence its journey towards Jawan (Rs 555 crore) to emerge an all-time grosser in the Hindi language. The hold in collections in the fourth and fifth week will give an idea about the possibility of the film to hit the magical number and at the moment, an all-time record seems to be in its reach.

The business will be boosted in week 5 by National Cinema Day, which will act a stepping stone for the film to reach the landmark number. The Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios production is an all-time blockbuster, and has sealed its position to emerge the #1 film of the year, as nothing in the coming 3 months could come close to this number.

Ananya Panday is friends with several B-town folks. But, among all, she shares a close and warm bond with youngsters like Sara Ali Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Hence, when the latter announced her happiness on getting admitted to IIM, Ahmedabad, the Dream Girl 2 actress jumped to the comments section to express how proud she is of her bestie.

Taking to her Instagram account, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda’s daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, dropped multiple images from her new home, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The carousel of images opens with her flaunting her million-dollar smile, standing next to the institute’s name.

Expressing her delight, she penned, “Dreams do come true! Home for the next 2 years… with the best people & faculty! BPGP MBA Class of 2026.”

Navya’s mom is proud of her daughter’s feat.

The actor mentioned that his daughters adore the singer and love listening to her music. In a recent interview with Billboard, Adam Sandler opened up about his experience making his latest Netflix special, titled Adam Sandler: Love You, and his upcoming film Happy Gilmore 2. The actor previously teased that Swift’s rumored boyfriend, Travis Kelce, will reportedly appear in the sequel.

During his candid conversation with the outlet, when asked about his favorite Taylor Swift song, the actor replied that it is difficult to choose just one. He expressed, “Everything [my two daughters] throws on I love, but one of the first ones they threw on when they were young was ‘The Best Day,'” referring to the track from her second studio album, Fearless.

Sandler further mentioned that his family shares a tradition of listening to each of Swift’s albums on the day they are released, noting, “There’s not a song they [his daughters] don’t know every word to.”

Meanwhile, Adam Sandler recently appeared on the latest episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, where he revealed how thrilled he and his family were when they heard Kelce and Swift were dating.

The actor also admitted that she’s one of the celebrities he gets “nervous” around, explaining that he doesn’t want to mess up and say something foolish, especially for his kids’ sake.

Last year, Adam Sandler attended one of Taylor Swift’s shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles with Sadie and Sunny.
