Sabyasachi Mukherjee is all praises for Deepika Padukone. At a recent Global Leadership Summit, Deepika and Sabyasachi came together for a session that captured the essence of India’s growing global influence in art, fashion and cinema. The conversation revolved around leadership, creativity and cultural identity. As per audiences at the event, it offered a rare moment of mutual admiration between the two.

During the discussion, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, spoke about Deepika, her global influence and her work ethic. Calling her the most bankable and the most famous person from India, he said, “The fact is that she is probably the most bankable and the most famous person from India – when we see her at the Olympics, when we see her at the Oscars, I don’t think there’s a greater brand ambassador or a culture ambassador for the country.”

He added, “I think Deepika should officially represent a whole lot of us in some of the biggest stages all over the world because that kind of representation matters.” Speaking directly to Deepika, he said, “I hope Deepika, you continue do that more and more and more.”

Fans have been lauding the conversation between the two celebrities. Deepika Padukone has welcomed a daughter, named Dua Padukone Singh, with Ranveer Singh. Her last release was Singham Again, with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan and more.

She is now preparing to star in Sidhharth Anand’s King, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She announced her association with King with a photo of her and Khan, holding hands. Deepika noted in the caption, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago, while filming ‘Om Shanti Om’, was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together.”
