Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s most beloved couples welcomed their baby girl on September 8. The happy news was announced in the afternoon. And it was a dream come true for new dad Ranveer as he had expressed his desire to have a baby girl in the past.

Appearing on a reality TV show back in 2021, Ranveer Singh revealed that he had seen Deepika Padukone’s baby pictures and hoped that their child would be as cute as her. Of course, his wish has been granted as he is now the proud father of a baby girl.

Deepika and Ranveer took to their social media handle to announce the arrival of their first child. They shared a creative with “Welcome baby girl!/ 8.9.2024/Deepika & Ranveer,” written on it. Several Bollywood celebrities showered the couple with love and congratulated them on the new chapter of their life together. 

As per reports, Deepika will be on maternity leave. On the work front, she will next be seen in Singham Again.
