President Zelenskyy affirmed Ukraine’s commitment to peace following a briefing from President Trump on his Alaska meeting with President Putin. Zelenskyy expressed support for a trilateral meeting involving the US, Ukraine, and Russia, and he is scheduled to meet with Trump in Washington D.C. to discuss ending the conflict. He also emphasized the importance of European involvement and security guarantees.

The submission comes in response to a SC order in April that prescribed a three-month timeline for the President and a one-month window for Governors to decide on pending bills
