A first-year MD student at AIIMS Patna, Yadvendra Shah, was discovered dead in his hostel room. Shah, originally from Odisha, was found after his room remained locked. His phone went unanswered, prompting authorities to investigate. Police are investigating the incident. A forensic team is assisting. Shah’s family in Odisha has been notified. A postmortem examination will be conducted.

Delhi Police have launched a murder investigation into the death of Karan Dev, initially believed to be accidental electrocution. Suspicion arose after inconsistencies were found in the wife’s statements and forensic evidence. Dev’s brother raised concerns, prompting a deeper inquiry. The wife and brother-in-law have been apprehended and are being questioned.
