In Haveri, police arrested three more suspects involved in a celebratory roadshow after their bail in a gang rape case. This brings the total arrests to seven. The suspects were presented before the magistrate and sent to judicial custody until June 2. Police confiscated vehicles used in the procession. The accused violated bail conditions by conducting the procession with supporters.

In Bengaluru’s Judges Colony, businessman Shashank S. alleges assault by Zepto delivery executive Vishnuvardhan over an address dispute. The altercation escalated after Shashank questioned Vishnuvardhan’s rudeness towards his sister-in-law. Shashank claims Vishnuvardhan hurled abuses, punched him, and issued a death threat. Suffering a skull fracture, Shashank posted on Instagram seeking justice.
