This came up during the hearing of the actor’s plea seeking to quash the FIR filed against him after he mimicked a character played by Rishabh Shetty in Kantara Chapter 1. He also spoke about Daiva (a deity) in a manner that was found objectionable by the complainant.

The filmmaker wrote a detailed note appreciating Smriti Chauhan, the costume director of the film and revealed that she stitched 10000 costumes in thirty days!

He began the note by writing, “I still remember one of our very first conversations, when we spoke about how Jaskirat starts with a hint of colour and how, by the end, Hamza is almost swallowed by black. How, somewhere along the way, the colour quietly leaves his life without drawing attention to it. At that point, it was just a thought, a tiny, slightly mad detailing idea I threw at you.
