After the success of the 2019 film Joker, fans have been eagerly awaiting its sequel. The movie, which sees Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Arthur Fleck/Joker and Lady Gaga appearing as Harley Quinn, promises to be a thrilling and mysterious ride.

Directed by Todd Phillips, who also directed the prequel, and written by Phillips along with Scott Silver, the film is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios. Joker: Folie à Deux also features Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lotte in undisclosed roles.

The trailer begins at Arkham Asylum, where Joaquin Phoenix’s character meets Lady Gaga’s character. Together, they embark on a crazy journey to cause mayhem in Gotham City.

One of the most iconic scenes from the trailer is when Lady Gaga makes a fake gun gesture, points it at her head, and pretends to blow her head off.

The 2019 Joker received various Academy Award nominations. Joaquin Phoenix won the Oscar for Best Actor, while Hildur Guðnadóttir won the award for Best Original Score for the film.
