Ravi from Haryana faced a 220-day distressing journey after paying around Rs 35 lakh to an unauthorized travel agent to reach the US. His family was extorted for an additional Rs 6 lakh while Ravi starved in the jungles of Panama and was ultimately deported upon arrival in the US.
