Trade calculations are being overturned by “tariff volatility” globally, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Monday against the backdrop of economic disruptions triggered by Washington’s policy on trade tariffs.

Speaking during the Open Debate on Women, Peace and Security, India’s Parvathaneni Harish said that Pakistan conducts “systematic genocide”.

India strongly rebuked Pakistan at the UN Security Council, calling its Kashmir claims a “delusional tirade.” New Delhi highlighted Pakistan’s 1971 genocide and mass rape campaign in East Pakistan. India urged Pakistan to address its own internal issues, including its economy and human rights record, rather than making baseless accusations.
