Vijay Mallya claims his plea to then Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to scale down Kingfisher Airlines operations was rejected, a decision he believes played a big role in the airlines downfall.

Senior IPS officer Seemanth Kumar Singh was on Thursday posted as Bengaluru Police Commissioner until further orders, an official notification said.
