He also posted a few behind-the-scenes moments featuring Shakun Batra, offering a glimpse into the making of the film.

Earlier in the day, Sidharth Malhotra reflected on his experience of reading the script for the first time. He shared, “When I first read the script, I remember finishing it with tears in my eyes. It felt so real, like stepping into a warm, chaotic Punjabi family where every character had a heartbeat. Playing Arjun was special because he was layered, vulnerable, and carrying so much inside him. Ten years later, people still talk about the film, the scenes, and the family dynamics like they’ve lived with these characters themselves. That kind of love is rare, and I feel grateful we got to bring that story to life.”

Kapoor & Sons follows two estranged brothers who return home after their grandfather suffers a cardiac arrest, only to confront long-buried tensions, secrets, and emotional fractures within their dysfunctional family. Over the years, the film has been widely appreciated for its nuanced writing, layered performances, and honest portrayal of modern family dynamics.

Besides Sidharth, Alia and Fawad, it also stars Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles.
