A Lookout Circular (LOC) was issued against Gupta, and when he was not found at his residence, an arrest warrant was obtained. Following this, he was detained in New Delhi.

Goa Police detained a partner and are seeking to impound the brothers’ passports. A team is being sent to Thailand to bring them back, with authorities also investigating their finances.
