A mild scare unfolded at Chitteri Railway in Ranipet District of Tamil Nadu after the ArakkonamKatpadi Memu Passenger Train (No. 66057) derailed. There were no injuries or casualties reported in the incident.

A law student in Kolkata was allegedly gang-raped in her college’s security room after being lured with the promise of a key union post. Police have arrested three individuals, including a college alumnus and two current students, following the survivor’s complaint and medical corroboration.
