In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking incident occurred on April 12, where a 20-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and stripped of her hijab. The Hindu man accompanying her was also beaten by a group of men. The police have registered an FIR and arrested six individuals in connection with the assault, which took place in the Khalapar area.

According to the eyewitnesses, the woman was coming from Ghaziabad, and instead of settling the toll charge, she physically assaulted the toll worker.

“The material produced on record reflects that the conspiracy in question travels beyond geographical border of India and multiple targets in the form of various places in multiple cities of India, including National Capital were sought to be identified,” the court noted
