The Indian Army is set to receive the first three of six Apache attack helicopters, dubbed “tanks in the air”, around July 15, under a Rs 5,691 crore deal with the US. The remaining three are expected by November.

Six families of victims from the AI 171 plane crash in Ahmedabad received a second set of remains from the Civil Hospital. These remains, discovered during post-disaster operations, were matched through DNA. While some families may hold a second funeral, authorities confirmed the legality due to DNA evidence and handover certificates.
