Sudhir Pandey Breaks Silence on Viral Walkout at Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 Trailer Launch

A couple of weeks ago, a video of actor Sudhir Pandey went viral, showing him exiting the stage during the trailer launch of the film Ginny Wedss Sunny 2. The clip led to the speculation that the veteran actor was disrespected by the cast or that something had gone wrong between them. Now, he has finally broken his silence over the same.
Opening up about the situation, he told the Hindustan Times, “There was nothing like being disrespected. I was launching the trailer with the team; I wanted to be there. I went to the stage with everyone and was sitting in the front row before that. Whoever has shot this video may not have noticed that. When the announcement was made, I went up with everyone.”

He further explained that he was in a great hurry, which is why he had to leave in the middle of the trailer launch.
“The problem was I was in great urgency, because my shoot for another project is going on. So, I came to attend this trailer launch in the middle of the shoot. In fact, I had told the production house for Ginny… that I will come with a little urgency. The reason you see me walking off is going to the other shoot, I was getting messages. I have a fantastic role in GWS 2 and it’s a good film. That’s why I got permission from the other film’s team. I am thankful to them for allowing it,” he continued.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the film introduces us to Sunny (Avinash Tiwary) and Ginny (Medha Shankr), two individuals caught in the whirlwind of traditional matchmaking and modern love. Set against a backdrop of grand Indian weddings, the trailer hints at a story filled with colourful celebrations and chaotic plot twists.
The Prashant Jha directorial will be released in theatres on April 24.
