IndiGo, Air India, and Akasa Air have assured passengers that safety remains their top priority following the eruption of Ethiopia’s Hayli Gubbi volcano, whose ash clouds are drifting towards parts of India.

At Hans Vahini Vidya Mandir in Surajpur, Kajal Sahu and Anuradha Dewangan hung a four-year-old from a tree for not doing homework, sparking outrage and an official inquiry.

Given the sensitivity of the case, police presence has been increased at the hospital’s entrance and in the wards.
