Unidentified men posing as central government officials intercepted a cash van here and allegedly fled with about Rs 7 crore on Wednesday, police said.

Four police personnel, including an outpost in-charge, were suspended on Wednesday after the screenshots and videos alleging their collusion with liquor smugglers in the Revati area here went viral on social media, officials said.

Authorities are actively searching for 19 women from Kanpur and surrounding areas who were reportedly influenced by arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed operative Dr. Shaheen Shahid. Investigators believe these women were radicalized through her manipulative speeches and outreach network. Efforts are underway to locate them using various tracking methods to understand Dr. Shaheen’s full operation.
