Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced today that Salt Lake, near Kolkata, will host the world’s largest Durga Angan — a gesture to highlight the UNESCO’s “cultural heritage” tag for Durga Puja.

The incident took place at busy Station Road in suburban Bhandup. The injured persons were admitted to a nearby hospital.

The Unnao rape survivor said that her husband is frightened by such incidents and added that no action has been taken in the matter so far.
