Briefing reporters after the 10th Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog, BVR Subrahmanyam said the overall geopolitical and economic environment is favourable to India.
Shashi Tharoor, leading an all-party delegation in the US, highlighted India’s past peace efforts towards Pakistan, which were followed by terror attacks like Pathankot in 2016. Tharoor emphasized that after years of failed attempts at diplomacy, India has adopted a new approach with Operation Sindoor, conducting precise strikes against terror infrastructure.
