Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president Vijay is set to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi on Monday in connection with the probe into the Karur campaign stampede that claimed 41 lives last year, party sources said.

Police in Karnataka’s Hubballi arrested two men for abducting a woman, sexually assaulting her, and filming the act, while another man was arrested for circulating the obscene visuals on WhatsApp. The incident occurred on Friday.
