11 people were killed and three others injured on Wednesday morning when a portion of the Gambhira-Mujpur bridge collapsed in Gujarat’s Vadodara district, sending multiple vehicles into the Mahisagar (Mahi) River.

11 people were killed and several vehicles fell into the Mahisagar (Mahi) River after a section of the Gambhira-Mujpur bridge in Padra taluka of Gujarat’s Vadodara collapsed on Wednesday.

In Gujarat’s Vadodara district, a section of the Gambhira Bridge collapsed, causing a truck, van, and car to fall into the Mahisagar River. Rescue teams are working at the site, with ten fatalities confirmed and nine individuals hospitalised with injuries. Prime Minister Modi has offered condolences and announced financial assistance for the victims’ families.
