Titled Raftaar, it is a gripping drama of ambition, love, and greed, directed by Aditya Nimbalkar and produced by Patralekhaa under the banner of Kampa Film. Raftaar features Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles, supported by a talented ensemble cast including Anurag Thakur, Rohan Verma, Tanya Maniktala, and Rajat Kapoor, in pivotal roles.

Last year, Filmfare had exclusively reported that Keerthy Suresh and Rajkummar Rao are coming together for a film. Today, the makers have announced the title and confirmed that the actors are indeed sharing the screen together.
Raftaar, an Amazon MGM Studios film, hits the theatres on July 24, 2026.
Meanwhile, talking about the film, our sources had previously told us, “Keerthy has been impressing both audiences and the filmmakers with her recent spate of performances. Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekha have been on the lookout for new scripts and talents to get their film production venture kick-started. This new project, with Keerthy Suresh as the female lead opposite Rajkummar Rao, was the perfect way to set the ball rolling. Keerthy’s casting is a done deal.”
Meanwhile, the actress made her Bollywood debut in 2024 with Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. She will also be seen in Kannivedi, Thottam and Rowdy Janardhana.
Talking of Rajkummar Rao, he is gearing up for the biopic of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam. He has also confirmed that he is working on Sourav Ganguly’s biopic.
