A 28-year-old man, recently released on bail for rape, allegedly murdered and dismembered the 18-year-old survivor in Odisha. He feared her testimony would lead to his re-imprisonment. Police used CCTV footage and phone records to track the accused, who disposed of the body parts in various locations. A juvenile accomplice is also in custody.
