Mumbai leads Indian cities in road traffic CO₂ emissions per km due to high vehicle density. A new study reveals major metros like Delhi and Bengaluru also show significant NOx and CO pollution. The research, part of the CHETNA project, mapped emissions across 15 cities at a 500-meter resolution.
