Millennials, wake up. It’s Hannah Montana season again!
Miley Cyrus has announced a new television event titled Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, marking two decades of the show that launched her to global fame and turned her into a pop icon. She took to social media to write, “Going back to where it all began. The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special premieres March 24 on Disney+. #MileysMemories”
Miley also shared a teaser video of herself arriving at Stage 9 on the studio lot in a car with the license plate “HM 20”. She steps out in gold and black boots, while the show’s theme song, The Best of Both Worlds plays in the background.
The special will feature an interview hosted by Alex Cooper, filmed in front of a live studio audience, in which Cyrus will talk about her time as Hannah, her Disney years, and more. This announcement comes days after Miley dropped throwback photos from her Hannah Montana days and teased that something is in the pipeline.
