Wake up ARMY. The OT7 era is officially back. For the first time since completing their military service, BTS members, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, V, J-Hope, and Suga have come together for a full group interview. This interview also comes ahead of their highly anticipated comeback album and world tour.
In a conversation with GQ, the seven members opened up about everything from music to friendship to their comeback. There was a lot of self-reflection as well as the typical chaotic BTS energy. The segment saw them create accounts on platforms like X, Reddit and YouTube to answer fan questions directly.
Jungkook and V even popped into Wikipedia mode, submitting edits to correct a few details about themselves. While answering fan questions, what they established once again was that despite their hiatus, they remain stronger than ever as a group, and nothing can shake that bond.

Suga: If we upload mirror selfies in our group chat, wouldn’t we roast each other?
On what they want their legacy to be:
Jin: I just want to be remembered as a person who brought good memories. Someone who, in their generation, brought happy memories to people through BTS. That’s the kind of person I would like to be.

Suga: Isn’t it a bit early to talk about a legacy? We still have a lot to do.
On what their new aesthetic is going to be:
Suga: Looking back at our past styles, after being away for two years now, a lot feels over the top. I mean, we were young. I just mean in general, the visuals were a bit flashy and sparkly.
On their comeback album:
Suga: The idea was to go with a fresh mindset and start working on the album in the U.S. We were thinking it’d be cool to try something like this or that. But we didn’t actually start working on the album until we got to the U.S. (in July 2025)
On what they missed about each other in the military:
J-Hope: I suddenly wanted to hear Jungkook’s snoring.
Jimin: I do want to see RM breaking things!
One thing they wish they could do differently:
RM: I probably wouldn’t have chosen a name like Rap Monster.

RM: I can drive! (He absolutely cannot)
On Jungkook deciding to join BTS after seeing RM perform:
Jungkook: It wasn’t a performance, but I joined after seeing RM.
RM: Apparently, he made up his mind after seeing my thighs.
