Two people, including an Indian-origin Sikh man identified as Buta Singh Gill, were killed in a shooting in Canada’s south Edmonton on Monday, as per Canada-based CTV News reports. Edmonton police said, “At approximately 12:00 p.m. today, Monday, Apr. 8, 2024, Southwest Branch patrol officers responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Cavanagh Boulevard SW and Cherniak Way SW.”
