American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and National Football League (NFL) player Travis Kelce have dominated headlines since their romance was first rumoured in September. While the duo still haven’t confirmed whether they’re dating, fans are loving the unexpected pairing. The coupling between the two started after the football player tried to give a friendship bracelet to Swift during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City back in July. Fast forward to October, it now looks like things are escalating quickly, and anything is possible in the future.
Now, here’s the full history of their relationship that is known so far –
In July, Kelce was spotted at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first public linking between the two. A few weeks later, he said on his podcast that he had wanted to give Swift his number at the show. Speaking on his podcast, “New Heights”, Kelce said he was “hurt” he couldn’t give Swift a friendship bracelet that included his phone number.
Fast forward to September, Kelce said he had “thrown the ball in her court” and invited Swift to one of his football games. It then didn’t take long for the singer to accept the offer as she attended the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears just three days later. According to Elle Magazine, Swift attended the game on September 24. She was photographed wearing KC colours as she watched the game from Kelce’s private box alongside her mother. The two were even photographed leaving the stadium together and then riding off together in the football player’s convertible.
In October, Swift was again seen attending a second Chief’s game. She was spotted alongside Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sabrina Carpenter, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, and Antoni Porowski.

Weeks later, the pop star again made her way back to Kansas City to attend Kelce’s football match against the Denver Broncos. She once again joined Donna Kelce in the family suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
Days later, the pair were then photographed holding hands in public for the first time. They even went to Rockefeller Center, where they made separate surprise appearances on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”. They reportedly finished the night at the show’s after-party, pictures on social media showed.

On October 22, Swift attended another of Kelce’s games in Kansas City. She was filmed cheering for the NFL star.
The next day, the first kissing photo of the duo surfaced online. In pictures uploaded to Instagram by Chariah Gordon, the partner of Kelce’s teammate Mecole Hardman Jr, Swift could be seen standing next to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, reaching to kiss his cheek.
In the photo, all four wore smiles as they posed together, with Swift appearing happy as she kissed Kelce and placed a hand on his chest.
Fans rushed to the comments section of the Instagram post to highlight their love for the duo. “Now this is iconic,” one person wrote. “Awww, they make a good-looking couple,” said another.
