Varun Dhawan has had back-to-back releases. The actor was seen in Border 2 recently. The multi-starrer film also starred Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in leading roles. He is also gearing up for the release of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The makers have recently updated the film’s official release date as June 12, 2026. This was done to avoid an impending clash with Yash starrer Toxic. Now, our source has confirmed that Varun is taking a long break from acting after Border 2’s release and in the time that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai comes out.
As per our source, “Varun Dhawan is taking a long break after the release of Border 2. He is keen on spending more time with his family, especially his daughter. He is eager to take the break to be with Lara.” However, Varun’s fans need not be worried about the same. His next release, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, is right around the corner. Alongside Varun, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur in leading roles.
Varun began his acting career with the 2012 movie Student of the Year. He has also worked in movies like Judwaa 2, Badlapur, October, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, ABCD 2, Dilwale, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and more. He also recently starred in Thamma in a cameo role.
