Colombian presidential candidate Miguel Uribe was shot during a campaign event in Bogotá’s Fontibón district, as confirmed by the national police. Bogotá Mayor Carlos Galán reported that Uribe is receiving emergency medical care, with the city’s hospitals on alert. The suspected attacker has been arrested.
