Following the tragic stampede at the RCB victory celebration that resulted in 11 deaths, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has increased compensation to Rs 25 lakh per family. A retired HC judge will lead an inquiry into the incident, while two KSCA officials have resigned, taking moral responsibility. The government aims to prevent future occurrences through thorough investigation and cooperation.

For now, only a limited number of devotees will be allowed to visit the Ram Darbar, and entry will be regulated through passes, which will be issued free of cost.
