A couple, who were returning on a motorcycle after distributing their son’s wedding cards, died in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district, police said on Monday.

Inspired by the Bollywood thriller ‘Drishyam’, a Rajasthan man allegedly killed an elderly woman, burnt her body and dumped the remains in a lake, hoping that he would get away scot-free if police did not find the body.

Her husband would pose as the brother of “Looteri Dulhan” Anuradha Paswan to conduct each her weddings to 25 men.
