Rashtriya Janata Dal’s Tejashwi Yadav said today that his brother is an adult and has the right to make his own decisions. But his father’s decision on his brother’s expulsion stands and the party cannot tolerate “such things”.

RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav expelled his elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party for six years following a controversial social media post where Tej Pratap claimed a 12-year relationship with a woman. Lalu also distanced Tej Pratap from the family, stating his actions didn’t align with their values.
