In Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, Pooja, a 27-year-old woman, was arrested. She kidnapped a day-old infant from Safdarjung Hospital. Pooja faked a pregnancy to deceive her family after seven years of childless marriage. She befriended the infant’s family and snatched the baby. Police traced her through CCTV and auto-rickshaws. The newborn was found at Pooja’s home.

As the fire engulfed the building, some patients managed to evacuate independently, removing their drips and exiting the building on their own.
