Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced a high-level committee, led by retired Justice Kurian Joseph, to examine state autonomy amid concerns of the Union government encroaching on state powers. The committee will study the relationship between the Union and states, focusing on transferring subjects from the Concurrent List back to the State List and addressing issues like NEET.
