In a symbolic move, the Congress party convened a CWC meeting at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Museum in Ahmedabad, aiming to reclaim Patel’s legacy. Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP-RSS for appropriating Patel’s heritage, highlighting Patel’s ban on the RSS and emphasizing the close relationship between Patel and Nehru. The party seeks to counter the narrative of Congress sidelining Patel.

As per the preliminary information, the accident took place around 6pm at Bada Bazar Road in Old Rajender Nagar when an individual, who was reportedly in intoxicated state, rashly drove the car and rammed into the pedestrians.
