A US federal judge temporarily halted the deportation of Indian scholar Badar Khan Suri, held over alleged ties to Hamas. His legal team claims he’s targeted for his academic and social media work. Suri’s wife, a US citizen, is an outspoken critic of the Israeli government. There is no evidence of criminal activity, and he holds a valid visa.
