Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have welcomed their second child, a baby boy. On Tuesday, the couple announced the birth of their son. They have named nim Akaay.
Anushka and Virat shared an announcement post to share the happy news. It reads, “With abundant happiness and hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world.”
The post continues, “We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love and gratitude, Virat and Anushka.”
Congratulations are pouring in for Anushka and Virat. Alia Bhatt took to the comments section and wrote, “How beautiful, congratulations.” Meanwhile, bride-to-be Rakul Preet Singh wrote, “God bless.”
Rumours of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli expecting their second child had been doing the rounds for a while. Recently, Virat also skipped India’s Test series match against England.
Anushka and Virat tied the knot in 2017. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika in 2021.
