The trailer begins with a glimpse of our three protagonists against the backdrop of the phrase “Want to escape.” We witness a tense exchange between Han Tae-oh and his father, who ominously threatens him from prison, accusing Tae-oh of his actions and vowing revenge. Concerned, Tae-oh urgently seeks help to evade the impending danger.

The focus then shifts to Kang In-ha, the illegitimate son of a powerful family, yearning for recognition from his father. We also meet Na Hye-won, burdened by her mother’s gambling debts. Despite their hardships, the trio is determined to climb the ladder of success.

Tae-oh boldly claims to possess something stronger than power itself, “Desperation.” This sets the stage for the intense power struggle ahead as they pursue their ambitions. Tae-oh pledges support to In-ha, promising to ensure his success. Thus begins a tumultuous journey intertwined with ambition and adversity as they strive for power.

Lee Jae-wook embodies Han Tae-oh, a figure defined by his sharp intellect and cool-headed logic. Together, they plot to dismantle the conglomerate’s leadership. Han Tae-oh, with his strategic acumen and calculated demeanour, takes charge, hiding his emotions behind a stoic facade.

Meanwhile, Lee Jun-young portrays Kang In-ha, a character masking deep desires beneath a carefree facade. As the overlooked illegitimate son of the Kang Oh Group, Kang In-ha teams up with Han Tae-oh, fueled by a longing for acknowledgement. Initially operating discreetly, Kang In Ha becomes entangled in his relentless pursuit to rise within the Kang Oh Group’s ranks.
