Kriti Sanon is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, where she’ll be taking on the role of a robot named Sifra. In doing so, Kriti not only introduces an original character but also becomes the first female actor in Bollywood to depict a robot on screen.
In a recent interview with a leading entertainment portal, Kriti shared her response upon discovering that she would be portraying a robot in the movie. She mentioned that when she first heard the script, she perceived it as a lighthearted film. Unaware of what was to come, she initially thought it would be a pleasant love story with great chemistry. However, when the unexpected twist unfolded, she was taken aback.
She further shared that Shahid’s shocked reaction in the trailer was her reaction. But she found the film’s plot funny and was instantly on board.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya also stars Dimple Kapadia and Dharmendra. The film is set to hit the cinemas on February 9, 2024.
