Some photos from the service have surfaced on social media where the members are seen standing next to each other. According to several reports, the ceremony was kept private, with only family and close friends in attendance. Fans urged one another on social media to stay away from the funeral.
The funeral was also attended by Kate Cassidy, Payne’s girlfriend who was with him in Buenos Aires until days before his death. Cheryl Cole, Payne’s former girlfriend and the mother of his seven-year-old son Bear attended the funeral as well.
