Aitraaz starring Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor completed 20 years since its release. Now, filmmaker Subhash Ghai has announced the film’s sequel, Aitraaz 2. The film will reportedly be directed by OMG 2’s Amit Rai.

Announcing the big news, Subhash Ghai shared a photo of Priyanka from the 2004 film. He captioned the post, “BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL PRIYANKA CHOPRA DARED N DID IT. That’s why cine lovers cannot forget her performance even after 20 years today in #AITRAAZ – produced by Mukta arts.”

The caption further reads, “When she was too apprehensive to do this role of an ardent ambitious woman but did it with full confidence. Now MUKTA ARTS is ready for AITRAZ 2 with the finest script after 3 years of hard work. Just wait n watch.”

So far, the cast lineup for Aitraaz 2 has not been announced. Further details are awaited.
