Ben Foster And Laura Prepon Announce Divorce After 6 Years Of Marriage; Deets

After six years of marriage, Ben Foster has filed for divorce from Laura Prepon. The couple, who have two children together, has decided to part ways due to irreconcilable differences. Their relationship began in 2016 and is now coming to an end.

Foster’s filing, obtained by PEOPLE, states that the couple has been separated since September 9, 2023. In the legal documents, Foster requests to enforce their prenuptial agreement and seeks to divide their assets and debts equally.

According to court documents, Ben Foster filed for divorce from Laura Prepon after six years of marriage. He requested that the terms of their prenuptial agreement be upheld and asked for the division of their assets and debts to be shared equally.

Foster also requested that both parties cover their legal fees and evenly split court costs. This divorce filing marks the end of their relationship after nearly seven years of being together, including their engagement and marriage.

They had been a prominent Hollywood couple, with their personal lives often kept private. The couple did not publicly announce any issues before the filing, and the news has surprised many fans.

Foster and Prepon’s relationship began in 2016 when they were first spotted together. They confirmed their engagement shortly after. In 2017, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ella. The couple tied the knot in 2018, with Prepon sharing the news on Instagram.

In a post, Prepon wrote, “Just Married” alongside a photo that appeared to be from their wedding day. She thanked friends and followers, writing, “Thank you for all the love and support. Wishing all of us the good stuff!”

The couple expanded their family in 2020 with the birth of a son. However, they chose not to reveal his name to the public. In an interview later that year, Prepon explained that she and Foster had decided to protect their children from the spotlight.

“Everyone is different with [posting] pictures of their kids,” she said. “No judgment, do your thing. But for my husband and I, that’s where we do remain extra private, is when it comes to our kids.”

Throughout their marriage, Ben Foster and Laura Prepon worked hard to balance their careers and family life. Prepon, known for her role in That ’70s Show, opened up about the couple’s approach to raising their children while navigating demanding careers.

“Ben and I are really great about if I’m at work, he’s [at home], and if he’s at work, I’m [at home],” she said during a 2019 appearance on The Moms. She acknowledged the challenges of managing work and home life but stated that she and Foster consciously tried to support one another.

Prepon also shared that she felt guilty about not being able to spend as much time with their daughter, Ella, but added that she was reassured knowing her daughter would be proud of her efforts. “There’s really no solution. You just do it,” Prepon said.

The couple was known for keeping their personal lives relatively private, particularly their children’s lives. Prepon said that her and Foster’s decision to shield their kids from public exposure was motivated by their desire to allow them to grow up without the pressures of public attention.

Ryan Reynolds Celebrates Deadpool & Wolverine Home Release With Deleted Footage; See Here

It seems that Deadpool & Wolverine still has plenty of surprises to reveal. Recently, co-lead Ryan Reynolds shared never-before-seen footage to celebrate the film’s home release on Disney+.

On his Instagram Stories and X (formerly Twitter), Reynolds posted a scene in which several variants of Deadpool surround him. In this scene, he talks about his best friend in the movie, Peter, played by Rob Delaney.

The sequence in question appears to be the one in which Deadpool and Wolverine fight all the variants of the merc with a mouth from The Void just before the final sequence in which the antiheroes get ready to sacrifice their lives.

In the recently shared footage, Deadpool is seen stating, “My Peter gave me a sense of belonging when no one else would.”

However, the character is soon interrupted by a variant who screams, “Get f**.” The voice suggests that the harsh words came from Kid Pool.

Soon, other variants jump in, saying even more heartbreaking words such as “Pi** off, Go back to Canada a****, F** off, loser,” and more.

All this happens while Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Delaney’s Peter are in the frame.

Talking about the footage, the actor who made a cameo in Brad Pitt’s Bullet Train mentioned, “This scene was deleted from the film but not my heart. Deadpool & Wolverine is out on @DisneyPlus today,” on X.

Deadpool & Wolverine was released in July this year. The only Marvel Studios entry released in 2024 welcomed the mutants into its great and legendary franchise.

While the future of both Deadpool and Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not been revealed yet, the Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard actor has stated that he is already working on a new project with his close friend Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool and Wolverine.

Meanwhile, get ready to witness the seasoned actor on stage next year. Hugh Jackman revealed back in October that he will be performing live for a 12-show residency at New York’s Radio City Music Hall next year.

The Prisoners star will be acting in the musical play From New York With Love.

Dr. K. Ramesh Kamath revives Konkani Cinema with Anthyarambha at age 72, set for global release this month

At 72, award-winning filmmaker Dr. K. Ramesh Kamath, a Poona Film Institute (FTII) alumnus and Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy honoree, is preparing to release his latest Konkani film, Anthyarambha. Produced by Kiranmayi Kamath and directed by Dr. Kamath, the film was shot entirely in Mercara and has now wrapped editing and re-recording. The final step of submitting it for censorship approval is underway.

Dr. K. Ramesh Kamath reveals that only eight films have been made in the Saraswath Konkani language, a rare achievement in cinema. Kamath himself has been a major force in this niche, with Anthyarambha marking his fourth film, following three previous contributions that have enriched this unique genre.

The movie delivers a profound, philosophical story where an elderly protagonist reflects on his life, sharing insights that highlight how each ending in life signals a fresh start. This 90-minute film was impressively wrapped up in a swift 40 days, demonstrating efficiency and dedication to bring this reflective narrative to life.

The film Anthyarambha features Dr. Ramesh Kamath in the role of the elderly storyteller, with Damodhar Nayak and Prathiksha Kamath as the lead pair. An extensive ensemble supports the leads, including Vitobha Bhandarkar, Stany Alveres, Uday Jadugar, Sheela Nayak, Vasudha Prabhu, Ananth Nayak Sagri, Narasimha Nayak, Master Aadithya Kamath, and Master Yatharth Shenoy.

Other notable cast members include Sandeep Malani, Prakash Kini, Umesh Shenoy, Krishna Nayak, Anand Nagarkar, Vinutha Kiran, Govindraya Shanbhag, Vanchira Jaya Nanjappa, Dr. Radhakrishna Nayak, and Sathyanarayan Nayak.

Anthyarambha brings together a skilled technical crew, with PVR Swamy as the cinematographer, Nagesh Narayan in charge of editing, and Abhiyogi overseeing digital imaging (DI). The musical score, crafted by Srisuresh and complemented by Shankar Shanbhougue’s vocals, adds depth to the film’s atmosphere. Dialogue writer Sha Mam Krishna Rao enriches the narrative, while Dr. Ramesh Kamath, the visionary behind the film, takes on multiple roles, including story development, screenplay, lyrics, and direction.

Dr. Ramesh Kamath is set to bring Anthyarambha to audiences worldwide in early November 2024. Positioned as a meaningful contribution to Saraswath Konkani cinema, the film aims to spark renewed interest in the preservation and celebration of the Konkani language and culture.

World Premier Show is happening on 23rd November 2024 in Bangalore at Dr Rajkumar Bhavan.
